We’re looking for **Scheduler, **local to the Red Deer area, **to join our team with an immediate start date for a long-term maintenance contract. **What You’ll Do**:

- Collaborate with integrated support groups of production, maintenance, capital, turnaround, engineering, and projects to develop and communicate integrated execution schedules aligned to asset availability and track progress against completion event milestones.
- Ensure alignment with regional and corporate maintenance, project and turnaround work processes, practices, procedures, and standards.
- Lead schedule optimization activities with the turnaround planning and execution leadership.

**Qualifications**:

- An experienced Scheduler with 5 plus years scheduling maintenance, projects and turnaround
- A minimum 2-year technical school diploma with 10+ years of related experience or 12+ years combination of post-secondary technical education and related experience
- Expert level working knowledge and advanced proficiency with the following: Primavera, Maxavera, SAP PS
- High level understanding of plant system processes
- Proven capacity to create and maintain complex schedules.
- Required Safety Tickets:

- CSTS-2020
- Energy Safety Canada
- Fall Protection
- Confined Space
- Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol test.

**Working Conditions**
- Working at heights, in and around noise, dust, indoor and outdoor in hot and cold weather conditions
- Working in a confined space
- Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots

**Physical Requirements**
- Must be clean shaven
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance
- Stand or walk for long periods of time
- Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects
