We’re looking for **Machinist**, **local to the Red Deer area, **to join our team with an immediate start date for a long-term maintenance contract. **What You’ll Do**:

- Perform predictive and operational procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines
- Repair and/or replace defective parts
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to drive quality of your end product.

**Qualifications**:

- Journeyperson Machinist Ticket
- Rigging ticket
- Valid driver’s license with a 3 year driver’s abstract
- Required Safety Tickets:

- CSTS-2020
- Energy Safety Canada
- Confined Space
- Fall Protection
- EWP (an asset)
- Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test

***Working Conditions**
- Working at heights, in and around noise, dust, indoor and outdoor in hot and cold weather conditions
- Working in a confined space
- Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots

**Physical Requirements**
- Must be clean shaven
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance
- Stand or walk for long periods of time
- Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects
