The Retail Supervisor will assist in the leading the day-to-day operational functions of the Lighthouse Immersive Studios retail space, including opening and closing the store, resolving customer complaints, overseeing and coaching staff, monitoring goals and KPI’s, and maximizing sales, while enabling seamless operations and safety for both staff and patrons.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Connect with every customer to ensure they feel welcome in the store
- Deliver superior customer service and create a memorable guest experience while maintaining sales goals
- Use the Point of Sale (POS) system to complete transactions in accordance with company policy
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet sales targets of the store
- Take cash payments in accordance with established company cash handling policy
- Work collaboratively with coworkers to foster a positive and productive work environment
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the stores offerings in order to personalize product recommendations for each and every customer
- Assist with regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures
- Monitor KPI’s and provide directives to staff on how to achieve goals
- Support the Retail Store Manager in overseeing staff and executing goals
- Lead top of shift huddles for Sales Associates, outlining goals, strategies, and objectives for the day
- Strategically plan staff breaks in accordance with venue policy to ensure coverage is maintained
- Ensure that the sales floor is neat, and that merchandise is attractively displayed
- Assist with restocking the sales floor
- Assist with maintaining the stockroom and preparing inventory for the floor
- Assist with the receiving and processing of shipments as necessary
- Maintain a familiarity and working knowledge of the exhibit and the content featured
- Maintain a familiarity of product locations both in the stockroom and on the sales floor

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Minimum 2 years retail experience.
- Minimum 2 years management/supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work daytime, afternoon and evening shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to set priorities and organize workload to ensure continuing productivity.
- Ability to work well under pressure, handles multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.
- Team oriented, enthusiastic, creative, well-groomed, reliable, and punctual.
- Familiarity with Lightspeed POS an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 32 per week
