**Role Overview**

**Core Responsibilities**

**1. Operational Management**:

- Assist in the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Oversee baking schedules, production quotas, and inventory management to ensure products are available and fresh.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and kitchen areas.

**2. Staff Supervision**:

- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.

**3. Quality Control**:

- Ensure all baked goods meet the bakery's quality and consistency standards.
- Record recipes and methods on paper.
- Implement and oversee food safety and hygiene practices in compliance with health regulations.

**4. Customer Service**:

- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently.
- Foster a welcoming environment and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.

**5. Product Development**:

- Collaborate on creating new recipes and improving existing products.
- Stay updated with baking trends and incorporate them into the bakery’s offerings.
- Assist in seasonal and promotional product planning.

**6. Inventory and Supply Management**:

- Manage inventory levels of ingredients, packaging, and supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor and control costs to maintain profitability.

**7. Financial Responsibilities**:

- Assist in budget plan by creating a spreadsheet of all ingredients and respective costs.
- Monitor sales and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.

**8. Marketing and Promotions**:

- Help plan and execute marketing strategies to promote the bakery.
- Assist with social media management, advertising, and community outreach programs.
- Participate in events and promotions to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.

**9. Collaboration with Apple Farm Operations**:

- Coordinate with apple farm staff to integrate apple products into bakery offerings.
- Develop and promote apple-themed baked goods and seasonal specialties.

**10. Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff schedules.
- Prepare and submit reports as required by the bakery manager or owner.
