Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and file court documents, such as Notice of Claim, Default Order, Summons to Payment hearing, Certificate of Judgement and Garnishment orders.
- Manage a portfolio of debt recovery cases, sign affidavits, attend court proceedings/trials when necessary and Transition from Civil Resolution Tribunal Default Order to Provincial Court
- Communicate with clients, to resolve cases.
- Conduct legal research and provide advice on debt recovery strategies.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Handle bankruptcy, insolvency, and personal injury lawsuits
- Identify irregularities and review them with the appropriate departments for resolution
- Review and analyze customer accounts, identifying deficiencies, negotiating payment arrangements, settlements and approving write-offs

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in legal debt recovery or litigation.
- Strong knowledge of debt recovery laws and court procedures in British Columbia.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to attend court hearings as required
