We have successfully built an amazing brand name in the vaping industry and recently added 420 Glass and Cannabis to some of our larger retail centers creating a unique 1-STOP Shopping experience for customers. We currently own and operate 9 stores in Western Canada with plans to expand which is why we are filling this senior role for the Calgary Surrounding area.

Retail Manager - Retail Vape Shop in Calgary & Surrounding Communities

Job Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following categories: This role reports directly to our General Manager with a dotted line to Alberta Reginal Sales Director.

**Overall Summary of Responsibilities**
- **Customer Service**-be a brand ambassador in the community for our organization and build customer retention for our store in Yorkton. _**We are the #1 Platinum Winner Award in Airdrie voted by customers for 2023 and again in 2024 **_This is _because we provide fantastic customer service and support. Therefore, your role must continue to foster that courteous, prompt and excellent customer service going forward. Explain product features and warranty agreements. Provide customers with information on daily deals and promotions. Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues to resolve any issues of customers.
- **Supervision of Staff**-with support from corporate HR and our GM-to ensure that our employees concerns, and issues are addressed satisfactory and in a timely manner. Ensure any vacant shifts are covered by staff or yourself. All scheduling is done by corporate and time tracking recorded in When I Work payroll Time Tracking System.
- **Inventory Management**-Balance all incoming purchase orders, receive shipments, assist in ordering products weekly with our GM; assist in inventory counts with our GM. Ensure our product display cabinets are attractive, neat and well presented. Advice our GM of products you feel will do well in the Yorkton area to ensure our store remains competitive.
- **Website & Social Media Postings**-Liaison with our corporate office to ensure all the products on Alberta websites are updated in a timing fashion and accurately. Learn about SEO and Social media posting under the direction of our Corporate Team.
- **Management Team**-participate in the weekly management meetings conducted by our CEO and GM. Provide insight into local market area; provide insight into product issues/successes; engage in the exchange of ideas with other store managers to promote new product launches successfully; assist in product testing and provide your feedback to management. Provide support to Alberta stores when their managers are away.

**Your Previous Work Experience**:

- Prior experience managing a vape store (2 year minimum) Your must love retail & People. Our staff does not work on commission but sales targets define bonuses.
- Prior experience managing and training staff in the vape industry. Retention and growing your staff is critical in this role.
- Ability to understand and learn technical product knowledge with an excellent memory. We have a massive inventory that is continuously changing.
- Impeccable manners, grooming and interactive people skills-we have a dress code that is business casual.
- Excellent personal organization and time management skills-you must be good with computers, POS systems, alarm systems. Be comfortable with monitoring systems all day
- Ability to work well with others and successfully communicate your thoughts and ideas
- We have a busy store but not unmanageable for one person to work alone.
- Fun energetic personality
- Available Evenings and Weekends-you will work alternating weekends
- Sales & Cash Register Experience
- Must Pass a Background Check - Must be Over the Age of 19 to Apply

**Compensation Package**:

- Base Salary is approximately 55-$60K+/year plus bonus for an experienced vape store manager
- Overtime is paid after 8-hour shift
- 10-hour shifts most days
- On-site parking, fantastic bright store to work in that has plenty of sun all day. Our windows allow you to see out but not see in-so it is very cheerful. We offer a car allowance if you are assisting in our other Alberta locations.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
