**Purpose**:
Launched in October 2014, York University's new School of Continuing Studies is rapidly expanding. It is one of the largest and most innovative of its kind in the country.
Reporting to the Director, Operations & Organizational Effectiveness and supporting Program Managers in daily activities, the LMS Assistant is responsible for updating online course content in the learning management system (LMS) for online and blended programs offered through the School of Continuing Studies related to Continuing Professional Education (CPE) and the English Language Institute (YUELI).
**Education**:
College Diploma in Business Administration, Technology, or Adult Education or related field is required or an equivalent of 2 years recent experience (defined as within the last three years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks. This education equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements outlined below.
**Experience**:
2 years' related experience working with Learning Management software preferably Moodle. Experience working in a learning or academic environment with instructors. Experience in managing multiple projects with time sensitive deadlines.
