**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle food safely, following proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as necessary.
- Utilize knife skills for precise food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with meal preparation and service.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
- Fine dining experience is a plus, showcasing an understanding of high-quality food presentation.
- Proven background in the food industry with hands-on cooking and food preparation experience.
- Familiarity with catering services and large-scale meal preparation is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $17.25-$23.02 per hour
