**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Assist in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties at the end of shifts.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the food industry.

Responsabilités

Préparer et cuisiner les plats selon les recettes et les normes établies.

Participer à la préparation des ingrédients, notamment au hachage, au tranchage et au dosage.

Maintenir la propreté et l'organisation de l'espace de travail en cuisine.

Veiller à la conformité des procédures de manipulation des aliments aux réglementations d'hygiène et de sécurité.

Collaborer avec les autres membres du personnel de cuisine pour garantir la préparation et le service des repas dans les délais.

Surveiller les niveaux de stock et signaler toute rupture à la direction.

Participer à la formation du nouveau personnel de cuisine, si nécessaire.

Participer aux opérations quotidiennes de la cuisine, y compris au nettoyage en fin de service.

Exigences

Une expérience en cuisine ou en restauration est préférable.

Connaissance des techniques et des processus de préparation des repas.

Connaissance des normes de sécurité alimentaire et des bonnes pratiques de manipulation des aliments.

Capacité à travailler efficacement dans un environnement dynamique tout en étant attentif aux détails.

Excellentes compétences en travail d'équipe et capacité à communiquer efficacement avec ses collègues.

Flexibilité pour travailler sur différents quarts de travail, y compris les soirs, les week-ends et les jours fériés, selon les besoins.

Passionné de cuisine et désireux d'apprendre et de progresser dans l'industrie alimentaire.
