A **Fragrance Demonstrator** (Independent Contractor) plays a key role in promoting and selling fragrance products in retail environments, engaging with customers to enhance their shopping experience and build brand awareness. As an independent contractor, the position offers flexibility and the opportunity to represent various luxury or popular fragrance brands.

Locations: Brampton, Guelph & London

**Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Engagement**: Actively approach customers, provide personalized recommendations based on preferences, and demonstrate fragrances using testers or samples.
- **Product Knowledge**: Stay informed about the fragrance brand’s history, product lines, and key notes (top, heart, base), ensuring accurate and engaging presentations to customers.
- **Sales**: Promote and sell fragrances by highlighting unique selling points, benefits, and special offers to drive conversions.
- **Display Maintenance**: Ensure the fragrance counter and product displays are clean, well-organized, and stocked with promotional materials.
- **Sampling**: Distribute samples to potential customers while adhering to company and store policies on sample use and distribution.
- **Reporting**: Track daily sales, interactions, and feedback, and submit performance reports to Account Executive weekly.
- **Compliance**: Follow all store and brand protocols when interacting with customers and handling products.
- **Brand Ambassador**: Represent the fragrance brand in a professional and positive manner, ensuring a strong brand presence in retail locations.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in retail, beauty, or fragrance sales is preferred. Previous experience working with Shoppers Drug Mart an/or Sephora an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and build rapport with customers in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of fragrance families, notes, and trends in the fragrance industry is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation to various store locations.
