We have plenty of work and are hiring additional personnel. Successful applicants need to be flexible and mobile as they will be working at locations throughout the province. In addition to paying for motel accommodation, you will be paid a daily living allowance of $60. This position will work as part of our gravel crushing operations, which move throughout the province. The work shift is typically from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and consists of either 10 days on and 4 days off, but applicants should be prepared to work 11 days on and 3 days off when required, and there may be the possibility of some shift work.
**We work in a safety sensitive environment; successful applicants will pass a worksite access substance test which includes testing for marijuana.**If you are posted to our worksite near Wakaw, you will provide your own transportation to Wakaw. If posted to another crew, you will come to Saskatoon where you will join other team members in a crew truck.
**Summary**
As a Grounds Person/Labourer, you perform an important role in contributing to a highly productive, well-organized worksite. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your role involves tasks such as operating a skid steer, shovelling material, conveyor maintenance, maintaining equipment, and general maintenance. Core skills in physical labour and attention to detail will be vital, while skill in equipment operation and safety protocols will increase your effectiveness. Additionally, relevant skills in teamwork and time management will ensure that projects are completed efficiently.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
