We are currently hiring for a project located in the Moose Jaw area.

**Job description**

**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Inspect sites for hazards and ensure proper safety controls are in place
- Inspect trucks and equipment prior to use for deficiencies and proper functionality
- Prepare field level hazard assessments
- Operate loaders, zoom boom, skid steer, backhoe, and excavators
- Maintain good-standing relationships with clients, all on site contractors and the public
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Actively participate and promote safety related meetings which may include daily toolbox meetings and hazard assessment meetings.
- Must be comfortable and able to work in a safe manner in a High Voltage Setting

**Additional Details**:

- Work a 10 day on 4 day off shift with 10hr work days
- Have and maintain a class 5 valid driver’s license
- Provide acceptable current driver’s abstract
- Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Must be flexible in hours worked, travelling, and working in adverse weather conditions
- additional equipment experience would be an asset
- Lifting and Hoisting experience an asset

- First Aid CPR/AED
- Ground Disturbance Level 2
- Heavy Equipment Operator Certificate (Excavators, Rollers, Skid Steer, Zoom Boom and other related equipment)

**Salary**: $32.00-$37.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- skidsteer: 5 years (preferred)
- Excavator: 3 years (preferred)
