**Quality Control & HSE Co-Ordinator**:to join our West Edmonton team. This is a permanent full-time position.

**Key Responsibilities***:
**_Quality Assurance_***:

- Manage RMA’s documentation from start to finish
- Compile and complete non-conformance reports (NCR)
- Formalize and implement improvement plans on reoccurring NCR’s
- Develop and keep statistics for errors by department by person (monthly)
- Complete spot inspections (daily) of stock orders pulled and processed parts
- Maintain & update the quality assurance manual
- Interact with receiving team regarding disposition of damaged goods
- Ensure quality hold items are dispositioned and reported on monthly
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work

**_Health and Safety_***:

- Ensure all departments complete HSE documentation as specified per policies this includes weekly site inspections, toolbox meetings, field level hazard assessments and monthly safety meetings
- Lead the monthly Health and Safety Committee and ensure that issues raised are addressed and corrected in a timely manner
- Complete walk-throughs of the facility on a daily basis to ensure all staff are compliant as per company HSE policies and procedures
- Complete COR Audits and ensure all applicable documentation is in order
- Ensure policies, processes, and procedures are consistently updated
- Make certain all job site hazards have been identified and all relevant safe job procedures and best work practices have been developed
- Manage the incident reporting process ensuring that root causes have been identified and corrective actions recorded and completed
- Coordinate with HR to assist in meeting WCB claim requirements including initial reporting of employee injury, preparation of modified work plans and agreements
- Work with HR and department supervisors to develop a comprehensive list of modified duties
- Identify potential training needs of employees, participate in the development of training classes/programs where applicable, and teach or instruct
- Complete new hire orientations ensuring paperwork is completed and sent to HR

**Qualifications***:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in previous safety role within the industry.
- Degree, diploma or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety from accredited educational institution is an asset
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations and WCB legislation.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised and prioritize.
- Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with a positive attitude who also pays attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives are prerequisites.
