**What’s the job?**
- We are looking for a People and Culture Specialist to join our growing team.
- You will be responsible for assisting and supporting leaders in supervising the performance of the People and Culture team; collaborating in assessing performance, providing feedback, and development and coaching to build employee capability as well as harmonious and productive working environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize and implement sustainable staffing strategy
- Oversee all staffing needs and operation of the company
- Facilitate procedures after hiring regarding employee relocation, legal documents etc.
- Ensure staffing decision comply with company policies and regulatory standards
- Assist in preparation and execution of orientation and training plans
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct employee compensation
- Evaluate new staff
- Create and present and submit reports for upper management
- Track attendance and onboarding training of new hires
- Support leaders with staffing and performance discussions, including investigations, leaves of absences, terminations, resignations, and promotions

- Remote work available for this position. We offer flexible hours to accommodate your lifestyle. When required in office, our location is 7676 Woodbine Ave, Markham, ON, L3R 2N2.

**What’s the pay?**
- Starting at $28.00/hour with a big emphasis on “starting” We’re hoping to continuously grow your skills, this role and the salary that comes with it This is a full time role with benefits.

**Here are some general guidelines of what we are looking for**:

- Knowledge of staffing trends, staffing policies and best practices
- Proven experience as staffing coordinator or similar position
- Experience in planning and execution of HR plans (onboarding, hiring etc.)
- Undergraduate degree, with a focus on human resources, business administration or relevant field
- Solid knowledge of relevant legal regulations (equal employment opportunity, relocation, visa procedures etc.)
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind
- Reliable with a respect to confidentiality
