Project coordinator to work under the supervision of the operation’s manager and estimator to assist with the construction and administration of heavy civil projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Order locates including refreshing as required per utility companies’ expiration dates.
- Review vendor bills for pricing and quantities for management approval.
- Coordinate trucking and material needs for sites as requested by site supervisor and operation manager.
- Monitor and update soil tracking software for projects to meet newly implemented O. Reg guidelines.
- Prepare field job folders for upcoming projects which includes gathering safety documentation as per ghn’s health and safety policy, print issued for construction drawings and approved shop drawings.
- Coordinate subcontractor safety documentation prior to mobilizing to site Estimating.
- Assist with developing resource database with detailed task templates in estimating software.
- Setup schedule of prices in estimating software and assist with quantity takeoffs for upcoming bid opportunities as directed by the estimator.
- Gather historical data from field logs and organize as per guidelines stipulated by estimator to determine production rates.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or degree in construction engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to competently follow instructions from supervisory staff
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to travel to job sites in London and surrounding areas
- Always adhere to health and safety policy
- Experience with estimating/GPS software considered an asset
