**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects.
- Develop detailed project budgets by assessing material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid to streamline the estimation process.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather data for accurate pricing.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
- Monitor ongoing projects for cost control and provide updates on budget status.
- Prepare reports on estimated versus actual costs to identify discrepancies and improve future estimates.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with project management techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in using estimating software, particularly HeavyBid, is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate price calculations.
- Ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively with contractors and suppliers.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.

**Job Type**: Part-time
