Director of Sort and Operational Readiness Compliance

Key Responsibilities:
- Sort Cost Reduction at Station Level: Identify and implement cost reduction strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor Daily Station and Regional Sort cost for compliance to target
- Develop action plans for stations falling outside sort cost target at the 21 Day mark
- Achieve a sort cost 5% better than target
- Leverage FMC, Horasphere, Progression and various Dragonfly systems to ensure stations understand the whys and how to leverage data for performance improvement.
- Lead and develop a fully formed mobile station SWAT team for HVE and periods of scale including new station openings
- The position will also act as the floating ROM position in Canada
- The position will report directly to VP Station Operations - Simon Spratley
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a regional or multi-site capacity.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent strategic planning and execution abilities.
- Proficiency in budget management and cost control.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and compliance.
- Ability to analyze and improve KPIs.
- Strong understanding of SOPs and audit processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
