- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
- Calculate and prepare payment for utility, tax and other bills
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents
- Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
- Oversee the inventory levels of the business
- Notify and report to senior management concerning any trends that are critical to the organization's financial performance.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities (ksa’s)
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively; including verbal, written, and listening.

- Strong skills in word, excel, outlook, Quickbooks Online, etc, with the ability to learn other database programs.
- Ability to think critically and identify solutions to problems with strong research and problem-solving skills
- Process and manage sensitive and confidential information
- Analyzing Information, planning, and projecting outcomes
- Oversee the analysis of data and information
- Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
- Knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
