**Application Support Analyst **- Permanent position in Richmond (Remote):

**Application Support Analyst **with our client
** **for a
**permanent opportunity**.

**Role Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Quickly respond to issues or high-priority requests and escalations.
- Work with other IT and internal stakeholder groups to jointly resolve and implement permanent solutions to recurring problems.
- Provide Subject Matter Expert advice for the Atlassian and Github toolset. Optimize and test new versions of the tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility.
- Lead the Cloud migration project for Atlassian suite of products (Jira and Confluence).
- Ensure that our deliverables meet the highest possible quality standards.
- Gather and analyze business needs in close collaboration with management and end-users (including leading cross-functional planning dialog sessions).
- Create and maintain documentation related to support processes.
- Prepare reports as needed regarding utilization and efficiency metrics to address accuracy with licensing and potential cost reductions.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years Atlassian system support experience.
- 2-5 years of supporting GitHub or GitLab.
- 5+ years overall IT technical experience with solid database experience.
- Experience and proficiency with customizing and enhancing the UI and workflows within Atlassian tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to provide creative solutions to problems and business challenges.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

**Nice-to-have**:

- Cloud migration experience is highly desired.
- Experience with Linux and MS-SQL Server (2008-2019) including management tools.
- One or more of the following Atlassian Certifications: Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator, Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator, Atlassian Certified JIRA Service Desk Administrator, Atlassian Certified Systems Administrator.
- Experience with Linux and MS-SQL Server including management tools a plus.
- Working experience with JIRA Service Management is a plus.
