**The Opportunity**:
As Insurance Advisor Team Lead you will demonstrate a high impact sales approach that’s balanced with advanced underwriting skills and general insurance knowledge. You will achieve sales targets; you are able to mentor and share your knowledge with others through leading by example, problem solving, critical and creative thinking.

**In this role you’ll**:

- Exceed sales targets as an individual contributor and as a team
- Provide support and mentorship to other team members and assume a leadership role
- Engage with clients to determine their insurance needs and provide expert advice to ensure their best insurance coverage and protection
- Develop new business opportunities by binding new policies, securing expiry dates and cross & up selling personal, auto and commercial insurance products
- Accountable for underwriting - individual/team
- Employ expertise and instruction in the use of relevant software: BMS, CRM, WIES reporting etc.
- Collaborate with co-workers and managers to develop positive and effective office procedures.

**Here’s what you bring**:

- High School graduate
- Level 1 license (Level 2 preferred)
- A natural ability at building authentic customer relationships
- Track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to coach and develop staff
- Experienced underwriter
- Strong work ethic without sacrificing your ability to have fun on the job
