We are looking for a Behavior Support to join our team
**Responsibilities**
- Create safe, happy, and fun learning environment for our children
- Proactively provide guidance and support holistic child development
- Observe, assess and maintain records of each child's emotional, social and behavioral support areas
- Focus on and work closely with kids based on their individual behavior intervention requirements
- Be willing to step into ratio as required at the campus

- Engage & build positive & respectful relationships with our staff, families and the community by creating trust and always acting with integrity.
- Ensure that the center facilities are always safe for our children and help the Campus Lead to strictly comply to licensing standards at all times
- Act with compassion while upholding Summit Kids policies and standards.
**Requirements**
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- At least 3 years of experience working with school aged children between the ages of 6-12 years.
- Prior experience as a behavior interventionist/ Child & Youth worker is an asset.
- Education in the fields of Psychology or Behavioral Intervention will be asset
- Clear & Valid criminal record check with vulnerable sector, taken in the last 6 months.
- Valid First Aid Certification (don't worry we'll hook you up).
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and daily access to a vehicle. _**The position will have to be comfortable driving between various Summit campuses in Calgary**_
- Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communication skill (English)
