**Overview**

**Duties**
As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting clients with daily living activities, including community support and community access.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Supporting meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition for clients.
- Assisting with mobility and transportation needs, including helping clients move safely within their environment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe living space for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Documenting client progress and reporting any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Collaborating with other caregivers and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in supporting children and young adults to develop social skills and build their self-esteem.
- Knowledge of autism, ADHD, FASD practices and techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience with meal preparation and understanding dietary needs of various clients.
- Familiarity with challenged young adults care principles is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated in independent situations.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
