**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Timely, A/R processing, billings and collections including Holdback billing and Progress Billings
- Provide accurate and timely job cost reports
- Credit Checks
- Accessing client 3rd party payment sites (i.e. Textura)
- Work with project managers to ensure that all change orders have been processed in the system
- Reconcile A/R statements
- Manage customer inquiries regarding billing issues and provide exceptional customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette.
- Analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts as necessary.
- Meet and satisfy pre-job commencement requirements (i.e. certificates and forms)
- Maintaining up to date all company insurance and WSIB Information to our clients
- Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business partners.
- Creating work orders for service technicians
- Enter job costing and breakdowns into accounting system
- Advise Accounting Manager and Project Manager of any delinquent clients
- Print Monthly job costing reports for Project Managers for monthly billings
- Represent company in a positive way
- Respond to clients in a timely manner
- Handle irate customers in a diplomatic manner
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure smooth financial operations and maintain accurate records.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related financial role is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and identify discrepancies.
- Excellent math skills for accurate calculations and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with financial services and accounting principles is a plus.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication skills with a focus on customer service and phone etiquette.
- Experience working with Jonas Accounting Software
- Experience working in a construction firm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
