**Overview**
We are seeking a reliable and organized **Scaffold Yard Lead Hand** to oversee day-to-day operations in our scaffold yard. The Lead Hand will coordinate the loading, unloading, organization, and inspection of scaffolding equipment, while ensuring safety procedures and company standards are followed. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate scaffold yard staff in daily operations.
- Organize, maintain, and track scaffold inventory (tubes, decks, fittings, etc.).
- Oversee loading and unloading of trucks to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspect scaffold components for damage, defects, or safety issues.
- Inspect and operate fork lifts, trucks and equipment trailers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment.
- Assist in training and mentoring yard workers.
- Communicate with site supervisors and logistics staff to fulfill equipment orders.
- Complete paperwork, inventory records, and basic reports as required.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience working with scaffolding equipment or in a construction yard environment.
- Supervisory or lead hand experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials.
- Forklift or telehandler certification an asset.
- Knowledge of scaffold systems and components is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.

Pay: $19.38-$30.31 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
