Institutional Intern

This internship experience provides the participant with a meaningful, relevant work experience as part of their academic studies. In addition to daily responsibilities, participant will have the opportunity to participate in a series of structured activities designed to enhance their learning experience including:
- Intern New Hire Orientation- Senior Leadership Speaker Series- Social & Networking Events- Presentation Challenges- Intern Capstone Project

At the conclusion of this position, the intern will have increased their knowledge of investing, the mutual fund industry, employee engagement, and a firm understanding of how finance works at an asset manager.

The MFS Summer Internship program is a 10-12-week program, starting June 3rd and ending on August 8th. Students work full-time, Monday through Friday, 35- 40 hours per week and are paid hourly. Internships are open to students who are rising seniors (class of 2026).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate multiple requests and efficiently time manage priorities.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Fluent in video technology including Zoom and Teams.
- Support the Canadian Distribution team (i.e. client facing), with client service, though leadership, marketing and investment reporting
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to learn new skills such as Salesforce system
