**Safety Admin assistant**

MPI Oilfield delivers world-class fabrication, installation, construction and facility maintenance services for thermal/conventional oil and natural gas producers. For over a decade, MPI has established innovative methodologies for industry specific construction requirements to safely deliver seamless installation and project completion for our clients. MPI Oilfield is a field to facility thermal service provider and constructor— a “Single Thermal Source”.

MPI is currently looking for a Safety Admin assistant to join our dynamic team Reporting to the HSE Manager, this role provides essential support to both the HSE Supervisor and HR Coordinator. Responsibilities include assisting with onboarding new hires and offering administrative support to the HSE Manager and field operations team. This is an entry-level position with excellent opportunities for learning and growth in safety practices and the oilfield construction industry.

**Skills you Bring**:

- Assist in facilitating company safety orientations for new hires and contractors
- Verify and track subcontractor safety qualifications and compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date health and safety records
- Collaborate with health and safety personnel to support the Safety Management System (SiteDocs)
- Working knowledge of safety management systems; experience with SiteDocs is an asset
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including onboarding coordination and document management
- Strong attention to detail in data entry, documentation, and record-keeping
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Willingness to learn and grow within the safety and oilfield construction industry
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic understanding of occupational health and safety regulations is an asset

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
