**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Ensure the sterilization of instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
- Provide support in various specialties such as pediatrics, orthodontics, and CAD (computer-aided design).
- Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure seamless patient flow.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is preferred.
- Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training is preferred.
