Position:
We are seeking a dedicated Asset Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Director of Asset Management. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our commercial and mixed-use real estate portfolio, collaborating closely with our team to enhance portfolio value and performance. Your insights and analyses will drive strategic decision-making, ensuring we deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly ownership reports.
- Analyze monthly performance, financial, and variance reports, providing actionable recommendations to meet key benchmarks.
- conduct market studies, forecasts, and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
- Consolidate, interpret, and present property reporting, including weekly AM Reports, cash flow forecasts, annual budgeting, and property tax documentation.
- Conduct thorough analysis for acquisitions and dispositions.

Property Management and Operations
- Review leases to ensure accurate information is received and maintained.
- Perform periodic on-site property inspections to provide strategic recommendations on property operations, capital planning, and major repairs.

Budgeting and Financial Management
- Assist in the annual preparation and approval process of property operating budgets.
- Assist with capital program scopes, timelines, budgets, financial tracking, and ROI analysis.

Relationship Management
- Develop strong professional relationships with third-party managers by attending weekly meetings and maintaining OneNote trackers.
- Collaborate with the acquisition/disposition team during due diligence and onboarding phases.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Asset Management with a desire to expand knowledge and skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, economics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, OneNote, and Outlook.
- Excellent financial analysis skills and ability to work with financial concepts.
- Familiarity with real estate software such as Yardi and Argus is considered an asset.
