Position: Account Manager

Team: Investor Relations

Reports to: Vice President, Investor Relations

Based at: Hybrid / North Vancouver, BC

**Job purpose**:
As the Account Manager you will focus on what you do best; establishing and growing strong relationships, presenting clear and verified investment information, and closing the deal. In this role, you will be the primary contact for a number of our clients, and you will work hand-in-hand with our investor relations team to implement, manage, and optimize strategic campaigns to retain them. This role will require a significant amount of travel to attend events, conduct property tours and face-to-face client meetings.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Be the primary point of contact for our clients; maintaining and expanding those relationships.
- Supporting and maintaining broker dealer relationships.
- Process details of potential new leads/investors, working directly with the rest of the team.
- Develop investor confidence and belief in the company’s vision and strategy for delivering investor value through both pro-active outreach and responding to enquiries.
- Create and manage a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties.
- Schedule meetings with clients to provide:

- detailed information on their accounts and investments,
- insights on market activity,
- education on best practices and opportunities.
- Respond to client enquiries regarding their current investments, and any other enquiries that may arise.
- Research and generate accurate information to support the wider team with materials.
- Deliver high-level client presentations as needed.

**Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience**:

- 2+ years’ experience in a customer facing position, ideally with some account management
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, B2B, or key accounts would be considered an asset.
- An interest in finance, investing, and/or real estate would go a long way in this role.
- High degree of professionalism and excellent coordination skills.
- Ability to quickly and consistently exercise good judgment.
- Highly independent and self-driven, organized and capable of managing multiple priorities on competing timelines.
- Process-driven with ability to set priorities and execute on tasks in the midst of consistent new demands.
- Ability to succeed under pressure; multiple client requests, changing deadlines and other last-minute requests come with the territory.
- Exceptional listening skills with the ability to quickly understand client needs to communicate and plan marketing campaigns accordingly.
- Competent with researching new topics, understanding and analyzing, and communicating key themes.
- Can dynamically and creatively convey qualitative stories and quantitative evidence in both written and presentation formats.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite, excellent excel skills and advanced PowerPoint.
- A valid drivers’ license and access to a vehicle.
