**Your Role**:

We're on the hunt for an Events Specialist who can manage a large volume of medical tradeshows, conferences, and workshops to help us increase brand visibility in our target markets. As our Events Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to spread the word about Clarius and generate leads. You'll be managing 50+ conferences, exhibits, and workshops yearly around the world
We're looking for someone with an unshakeable smile, who's ultra-organized, and with keen attention to detail. You're a pro at juggling multiple tasks and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders internally and externally and creating positive event experiences for both our internal customers and external prospects.
**This is a hybrid role that will require the ability to work 60% of the time at our Vancouver office.**
**Your Responsibilities Include**:
- Work with marketing and sales leaders to identify, research, and register for appropriate industry tradeshows and ultrasound workshops.
- Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to plan and coordinate details for upcoming tradeshows.
- Identify and negotiate speaking opportunities, workshop opportunities, and additional promotional opportunities at industry events all over the world.
- Manage inventory of tradeshow assets (including packing, shipping, tracking, etc.).
- Source, order, and manage cost-effective tradeshow display materials, giveaways, etc.
- Effectively project manage and deliver events on time and within budget.
- Track conference expenses and consolidate monthly credit card charges.
- Coordinate medical equipment demo kits (including charging, packing, shipping, tracking, etc.).
- Coordinate and clean tradeshow lists for import into the marketing automation system.
- Create social media posts to promote participation at events before and during events.
- Work with the marketing team on ROI, improvements to increase impact, and event evaluation for future participation.
- Coordinate other marketing activities as needed.
**Your Experience So Far**:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience coordinating and executing a minimum of 50 annual corporate events, preferably within the medical or technology sector in organizations with an international presence.
- Extraordinarily organized with exceptionally strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and comfortable with change and shifting priorities.
- Proven ability to manage events through their entire lifecycle, from requirements gathering through delivery, on time, with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of partners and stakeholders, at various levels.
- Comfortable and enthusiastic about learning new technology.
- Experience in managing the logistics surrounding a high volume of shipments internationally.
- Ability to prioritize and juggle competing tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree preferred.
- Excellent vendor management skills.
