The Wood Automotive Group is excited to announce that we’re hiring Sales Consultants to join our team at the brand-new Taza Park Volkswagen dealership, which opened in March 2025 This 45,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art dealership will be situated on the Tsuut'ina Nation and comes packed with new cutting-edge equipment, 25 service bays and a stylish, 20-car showroom **About the role**: **_ Guaranteed salary of $50,000 a year with the potential to earn much more (Competitive pay plan with base pay)_** **Responsibilities**: - Develop buyers by keeping good rapport with previous and new customers; also by suggesting trade-ins; respond to inquiries; recommend sales campaigns and promotions - Qualify buyers by understanding their interests and requirements; matching requirements and interests to various models, etc. - Generate appointments and quotes by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify potential customers - Assist customers in appropriate vehicle selection - Figure out customer’s needs by listening and asking questions - Engage customers through our online chat tool - Perform walk-around videos with new and old customer and demonstrate features of suitable vehicles - Work with management team on opportunities and sales objectives **Requirements**: - Clean driver's abstract and AB driver's license - customer service experience **Some of the rewards of joining our team**: - Exceptional benefits package - Pension Plan with employer contributions - free money - Employee Assistance Program including, Financial Advisory Services, Nutritional Counselling, Legal Advisory Services, Counselling Services, fitness program, and more - Corporate rates at YMCA and Goodlife Fitness - Group social events and company perks. **Our unique culture**: Are you the kind of person who wants to make a difference in their community, and build a solid career with a growing organization?
