**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Operate a 26-foot straight frame delivery vehicle in a safe, courteous and efficient manner
- Responsible for loading and unloading of orders supplies to customer
- Responsible for general housekeeping of the delivery truck
- Responsible for daily circle checks, completion of logs as required as per our transportation policy and procedures manual
- Operates lift trucks, power walkies, pump trucks, and Order Picking machine
- Communicates with warehouse staff and Customer Account Managers
- Reports information to the Warehouse Manager and Regional Operations Manager.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean driver abstract and reporting any incidents or accidents that occur and advising of any changes in status to your abstract or license
- Involved with information that is primarily straightforward
- Some problem-solving is required
- Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions or other emergencies or in the event or irregularities relating to pickup of delivery or cargo
- Maintains records for the purpose of documenting activities and providing reliable resource information
- Verify product and accuracy with customers at locations
- Other duties as may be assigned

**Working Conditions**:

- Moderate intensity activities add up to an average of four to six hours a day
- High intensity physical activities add up to and average six hours a day
- Conditions may cause some stress or physical discomfort due to exposure to:

- Repetitive lifting - Temperature variations
- Handling chemicals - Time constraints
- Moving product more than 50 lbs.
- Tight delivery schedules

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- Job tasks call for a higher level of acquired knowledge
- Job tasks call for specific training in shipping dangerous goods, and WHMIS
- Job calls for ability to handle powered machinery
- Job calls for ability to do basic math, and ability to problem solve

**Education**:

- G License Required
- DZ License is an asset.
- Minimum Completion of High School
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Fork-lift license is an asset
