Parts for Trucks has been an industry leader providing parts and service to the heavy-duty trucking industry for over 100 years. Operating multiple locations from coast to coast, Parts for Trucks offers a complete range of products and services for heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

We are currently seeking a Regional Credit Manager to join our growing organization. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Calgary.

The Regional Credit Manager, who reports to the National Credit Manager, is responsible for overseeing the Credit/Collection operations within the Manitoba to British Columbia Region. This role involves managing the credit assessment process, mitigating credit risk, collection of overdue accounts, overseeing the daily AR operation and ensuring compliance with credit policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate and approve Credit Applications based on Company policies and risk assessment criteria
- Review financial statements, credit reports and other relevant information to determine creditworthiness
- Set Credit Limits and Terms for new and existing customers
- Monitor and manage the Credit Risk portfolio to minimize potential losses
- Ensure collection of overdue accounts occurs in a timely manner, while maintaining a strong customer relationship to ensure sales are not negatively impacted, unless necessary
- Oversee the processing of all payment types, ensure timely response to Branch requests to assist them to meet their customer needs and ensure customer inquiries are addressed in a timely and accurate manner
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Accounts Receivable Specialists. Assist the Accounts Receivable Specialists in the performance of their responsibilities for an accurate and efficient process while attaining a high level of Customer Service
- Conduct regular credit reviews and audits to ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Address and resolve customer disputes and inquiries related to account issues
- Work closely with the Regional Parts and Service Managers to support business growth while managing credit risk
- Prepare and present regular reports on Credit performance, including key metrics and trends and the performance of our External Collection Agency(s)
- Stay up to date with industry’s best practices, regulatory requirements and market trends
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards related to Credit Management

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field with a CCP designation is preferred; however, an equivalent combination of professional training and experience in the Credit/Collection field (in this type of business) will be considered
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Credit Assessment and Collections, with at least 5 years in a sales oriented environment
- Excellent leadership and Team management skills
- Proficiency in Credit Management software and financial analysis tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstration of professionalism, discretion and a high level of organizational skills will be essential to succeed in this position
