**Job Summary**:
**Essential Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Establish, monitor and actively manage counterparts within predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and contractual covenants.
- Work as part of a team of Credit professionals to ensure effective operation of credit function.
- In partnership with the commercial team negotiate credit provisions of industry standard energy trading master agreements in accordance with the company’s credit policy and practice.
- Oversee assigned trading area and implement processes for effective portfolio risk management.
- Prompt and clear escalation to Head of Credit Risk of credit issues.
- Ensure proposed solutions of credit issues are compliant with Credit Risk Management Polices.
- Engage with internal & external stakeholders to ensure clear and prompt issue/query are handled and brought to resolution.
- Strong working relationship with front office to respond to credit related inquiries from the commercial team.
- Perform in-depth credit analysis outlining transaction, purpose, strengths, risks and mitigants.
- Ensure credit databases and systems are maintained and updated.
- Demonstrate creativity and intelligent solutions in structuring sophisticated customer transactions.
- Demonstrate confidence and willingness to lead discussions in a logical and balanced manner across business units and geographies.
- Assist in the development of analytical tools and models for the Credit Risk group.
- Assist in researching and compiling data regulatory filings in collaboration with other teams responsible.
- Work with multiple business units and functions to develop additional risk reports, as well as suggest and implement improvements to the existing suite of reports and processes

- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- University undergraduate degree (in finance, accounting, economics or a business-related field preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in energy financial analysis, credit or risk management.
- Excellent analytical and modeling skills to understand structured transactions, credit risk management, portfolio and hedging concepts.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of standard credit assessment techniques, including calculation of potential future exposure and valuation for a wide variety of complex transactions.
- Experience in negotiating energy master agreements, including ISDAs, NAESBs, GasEDIs, EEIs and other customer agreements.
- Strong financial analysis and business acumen.
- Detail oriented, able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members and departments.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Extensive experience with MS Excel, and highly skilled with other MS Office products including Access, Word PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
- Experience with ETRM system management and use.
- Experience with credit/collateral management systems and process.

**Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Experience with SQL
