**Supreme Steel**is currently looking for a quality driven, detail orientated, experienced **Steel Plate Burner**to join our production team at our Bridge fabrication facility in **Edmonton, AB**. This is a full time unionized position for the day shift, working 4-10s, Monday to Thursday. The Steel Plate burner will be responsible for the layout and cutting of structural steel plate components using a dual torch radiograph. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Steel Plate Burner will play a crucial role in the fabrication process, ensuring that all materials meet quality standards and project timelines.
- Previous experience using radiograph and/or oxyfuel cutting equipment
- Understand pre heating requirements as per code/specifications
- Metal Fabrication experience is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret drawings to determine cutting patterns and dimensions
- Layout experience is an asset
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations are required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail
