Position Overview
As a key contributor to our organization, this role serves as the primary interface for coordinating activities aimed at optimizing the performance, profitability, and fortification of Hyundai dealer network. The incumbent is entrusted with the responsibility of analyzing financial statements, overseeing dealer appointments, and spearheading the implementation of strategic initiatives. Acting as a liaison between Hyundai Motors Company in Korea (HMC), Canadian Head Office, field staff, and external vendors, this role operates at the nexus of critical information, often of a sensitive and confidential nature. The position demands an individual with meticulous and proactive approach, possessing a refined skill set in financial analysis, legal compliance, and project coordination. The incumbent will be immersed in task requiring a high level of attention to detail and precision. Success in this role hinges on the ability to navigate multifaceted responsibilities while upholding the utmost standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze dealership financial statements to create comprehensive monthly financial analysis reports
- Act as a liaison with third-party vendor for the dealer financial platform
- Review and approve unusual financial cases before accepting dealers’ monthly financial statements
- Support in training internal field staff across Canada on dealership financial analysis
- Assist individual dealerships in improving overall performance and profitability
- Support in managing activities related to new dealer appointments, existing dealer network changes, and buy-sell transactions
- Collaborate with field staff to prepare dealer proposal presentation decks
- Prepare dealer agreements, new registration forms, and ensure timely completion of onboarding activities
- Execute dealer agreements and franchise documents, reconciling company documents to meet legal requirements
- Ensure Legal department service request packages are prepared accurately and submitted promptly upon executive approval
- Track dealer packages’ legal documentation ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Prepare and issue official dealer network change announcements for internal and external recipients
- Manage SAP processes for internal and external users
- Maintain SAP dealer database
- Work with external vendors and the internal Finance department to coordinate Purchase Requests/Orders
- Process monthly vendors’ invoices, tracking accrued payments
- Assist in managing incentives for dealers on Electric Vehicles (EVs) and the Hyundai Global Dealership Space Identify (GDSI) image program
- Support the implementation of EV training courses and EV charging station installation
- Generate reports on the status of EV infrastructure development and compliance
- Contribute to the identification of poor-performing dealers and assist in developing improvement strategies
- Provide general administrative support, including creating and distributing reports and presentations, taking minutes, conducting research, and providing analysis
- Other Ad-hoc duties as may be assigned or required

Required Education and Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in same or similar function within the automotive industry
- Completion of an undergraduate degree preferably in Business Administration/B. Comm... or an equivalent combination of experience and education

Required Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent financial analysis, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of dealership operations
- Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent and efficient time management skills, including multi-tasking and prioritizing to meet deadlines
- Eager to learn new things and produce results
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, VBA in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
- Experience with Automotive Software (SAP, Catalyst for Insight, eCore®) is an asset
- Knowledge of legal compliance is preferred, but not essential
- Proficiency in French is preferred, but
