**Job Title**: Full-Cycle Bookkeeper

**Reports to**:Chief Financial Officer

**Job Summary**

**Job Skills/Qualifications**
- Detail oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with Quickbooks Desktop (preferred) or similar accounting software an asset
- Advanced computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office programs - especially Excel
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Skills in organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling personal workflow
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset

**Responsibilities**:
1. Accounts Payable/General Bookkeeping:

- Become familiar with standard Construction Cost Codes and general construction practices in order to be able to understand job cost allocations
- Enter bills and allocate material costs to the appropriate job code/project or expense category
- Pay company bills as authorized by the CFO
- Neatly manage paper filing of company records
- Assist in month end statement reconciliation and other financial reporting

2. Government Reporting:

- Complete, report and submit WSIB remittances on a monthly basis
- Prepare and submit Payroll tax remittances bi-monthly and at year end

**Employment Requirements**
- 2 to 3 years of booking experience

Compensation commensurate on experience.
