With its successful experience in the United States, GCI is established to provide Hyundai Glovis' expertise in logistics and synergy in operations to its Canadian counterparts - Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. and KIA Canada Inc. **WE ARE HIRING "Sales Supervisor - Auto Part Logistics"** **Position Summary** We seek a dynamic and results-driven Sales Supervisor specializing in the Automotive Logistics sector to join our team. Responsible for exceeding subsidiary expectations by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest quality standards. Optimize transactional and operational processes to minimize costs and enhance efficiency. Foster strong relationships with automotive companies through regular communication with sales and service representatives, while negotiating rates and service/operation parameters with customers, carriers, and agents. **Responsibilities** 1) Business Development - Responsible to achieve target sales. - Managing the relationships with key accounts and maximizing all opportunities through those accounts. - Accountable for managing, developing and expanding the logistics business of the Automotive and Energy sector, providing direction and leadership to ensure profitability. - Design monthly management report that will communicate key successes/challenges to Management. 2) Procurement - Responsible for procurement, not limited to sourcing pricing from overseas. offices but also developing and utilizing local channels(vendors) to procure the pricing. - Build up a strong network with other players, carriers and agents so that we can offer the best service in this business. 3) Operations - Responsible for operations; need to set up operations and handle new accounts. (Ocean /Inland/Air). - Design monthly KPIs for management such as carrier performance record. - System Development for a new account (if required / co-work with the IT Department). - Oversee compliance with applicable TSA requirements, laws, regulations, other government filings and requirements, and company standards. **Experience** - 5+ years of logistics/automotive sales mainly preferred in Canada. - 5+ years of hands-on management in the field of automotive. - Automotive parts purchase experience preferred. **Skills** - Must have a network with Ocean & Inland carriers with fluent communication skills. - Exceptional communication skills. - Multi-language speaker preferred (including Korean) who will be responsible for co-working with HQ in South Korea, overnight for procurement (if needed). - **We thank all applicants for their submissions, but only those who are shortlisted will be contacted.**_ **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Additional pay: - Bonus pay - Overtime pay **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - Dental care - Disability insurance - Discounted or free food - Extended health care - Flexible schedule - Life insurance - Mileage reimbursement - On-site gym - On-site parking - Paid time off - RRSP match - Tuition reimbursement - Vision care - Work from home Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Application question(s): - How many years of sales experience do you have in Canada?
