We have an opportunity for you Ellie’s Hair Studio is an up-and-coming salon in the southwest side of Edmonton. As a modern studio in a growing part of Edmonton, Ellie’s Hair Studio will be a great place to grow your skills and build your clientele.

**Responsibilities**
- Welcome customers as they enter the salon
- Identify customers’ preferences by asking questions
- Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to the customers’ face shapes and tastes
- Wash, rinse, and dry clients’ hair with appropriate shampoos and conditioners
- Cut, trim, and shave hair using professional equipment
- Keep station clean
- Sell hair care products and services, when appropriate

**Requirements and qualifications**
- 5+ years of hairstylist experience
- Established clientele
- Strong knowledge of haircutting, colouring, and styling techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Able to work evenings and weekends
- Up-to-date with industry trends
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English
