**The Role**:

- A Research Project Planner assists Project Managers with the project management activities across market research and internal initiative projects including schedule creation, project monitoring, risk management, issue management and costing. Project Managers serve as the single point of accountability for the delivery of projects on time and within budget._

**The Impact**:

- The Project Planner will work directly with Project Managers to ensure that assigned studies are delivered to meet the objectives of the business and key stakeholders, while maximizing efficiency and driving continuous improvement using project management best practices._

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with planning and managing a portfolio of market research projects or internal initiative projects with direct oversight.
- Assist with the development of detailed project plans that align schedules and resources.
- Gather information for labor and costs estimates from internal departments and external vendors.
- Monitor and control assigned projects during implementation including updating / adjusting project plan per Project Manager direction.
- Facilitate status meetings and distribute meeting notes.
- Assist with root cause assessment and development of action plans to resolve project issues.
- Update and maintain all project information in project management software.

**Qualifications**:

- _Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a market research setting_
- _Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree_
- General knowledge of market research methodologies and project management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative with a team-focused mindset
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Project management certification (CAPM, or PMP) and experience with any project management software desired but not required
- Occasional business travel to the United States and/or Canadian office locations, as needed
