The Company is currently recruiting for an **Order Entry Clerk**. This position reports to the Customer Service Manager and is primarily responsible for entering customer orders and company PO's.
**Summary**:
Enters customer orders, creates shop orders and preparation of needed information.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives.
- Enters customer orders per drawings, notes, order write ups and customer PO.
- Creates each order line item using pre-assigned models and answers model questions per drawings & notes to produce the information for the correct unit.
- Assigns prices to each line item per the order write up, notes and customer PO.
- Verifies that order total matches the customer PO and write up.
- Creates related shop orders.
- Review of orders for accuracy in an efficient manner with the ability to make recommendations to improve through effective communication with coordinating departments.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
**Education and/or Experience**:
- High school diploma or general education degree and related experience and/or training
- Have a clear understanding of computers and the ability to navigate various software packages including: Microsoft Office, Syspro & Fenevision (beneficial)
**Language Skills**:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general work instructions, customer PO’s., order write ups, etc.
- Possess both written and oral communication skills appropriate to a workplace environment
**Mathematical Skills**:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, and volume.
**Other Skills**:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
