**Job**:CNC Lathe Machinist | Program, Setup, and Operate

Day Shift (Mon-Friday | 7:30am to 4:00pm)

No two days will be the same given the company's focus on low volume high complexity work from a variety of industries including deep sea submergence, aerospace, alternative energy, medical, and manufacturing OEMs. The 20,000-square-foot facility in the Tri-City area, BC and is equipped with 20 CNC machines including a mix of vertical mills, lathes, and 7-axis live tooling machines. The company is ISO 9001 certified and operates well-maintained Mazak and Haas equipment. Near 40-year history with a deep bench of tenured machinists to learn from.

**The Opportunity**:

- Set up and operate CNC turning to mill and multi-axis centers.
- Past experience working with tight tolerances (microns to 5 thou).
- Ability to check machined parts and read technical drawings.
- Ability to fill in detailed paperwork and record dimensions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and machine.
- Machine knowledge and basic maintenance capabilities.
- Ability to work in a team environment to support other machinists.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Parts deburring and polishing.

**Hours**
- Day Shift. (7:30am - 4:00pm | Mon-Friday)
- Friday and weekend overtime is available depending on the shop's workload.
