Located in the beautiful gardens at the historic Brackendale Art Gallery, the Zephyr Gelato caravan is looking to hire enthusiastic and friendly Gelato Scoopers to join our team to finish out the summer season. Applicants must be able to commit to working until end of September.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while serving delicious gelato. You will engage with customers, take orders, and ensure a clean and welcoming environment.

**Duties**
- Serve customers with a smile.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area and equipment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Prepare food items as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure quick service.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling and cashiering practices is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
- Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks during peak hours.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Pay: From $17.85 per hour
