Our preventative maintenance technicians are responsible for performing scheduled maintenance for our customers’ mobile fleet of equipment in the field, and to ensure these services are completed in a timely manner with quality as a top priority.
- Key Accountabilities:
- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
- Complete lubrication services and repairs
- Coordinate convenient preventative maintenance service scheduling with customers
- Document all service and repair information
- Promote preventative maintenance/lube service capabilities to customers
- Organize and control inventory of all lube truck equipment and truck stock
- Conduct minor warranty repairs
- Conduct 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 hour services including valve sets
- Proactively and responsibly maintain positive customer relations at all times

Weekend: FRIDAY TO SUNDAY 7:00AM TO 7:30 PM. Paid for 40 hours- Job Qualifications:
- Key Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Education & experience performing repairs and preventative maintenance
- Experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, large vehicle or agriculture equipment
- Possession of a technical license in 310T, 310S, agriculture mechanics or equivalent, an asset
- Customer centric with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing and able to work flexible hours (weekends/afternoon shifts) in support of business needs and travel for training
- Comfortable computer proficiency, knowledge of CAT E.T., SIS or DBS systems, an asset
- A valid Ontario Driver’s Licence (DZ considered a huge asset)
