Production Associate

**Purpose of the Position**:
To ensure that all production requirements are successfully completed to assist with the delivery of our products.
**Primary Accountabilities**:
Reporting to **Cultivation Manager** the Production Associate will be responsible for assisting with all production related tasks and other tasks as required.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Maintenance of plants from seed to harvest
- Plant destruction, and other
- General production/sanitation tasks
- Help maintain high levels of cleanliness in all aspects of the workplace
- Maintaining equipment and tools necessary for production tasks
- Maintaining production records to Cannabis Act Good Production Practice (GPP)
- standards
- Strict adherence to all Health Canada requirements and SOP’s.
- Other duties as assigned
**Knowledge**:
- Must have proficient knowledge in the following areas;
- Post-secondary degree in Agriculture/Horticulture
- Previous experience with a License Producer is an asset
- Manufacturing or production experience an asset
**Skills and Abilities**;
- Must demonstrate the following skills;
- Effective verbal presentation and listening communication skills
- Attention to details
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Can work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience working within a highly-regulated environment
- Well organized and demonstrate” top notch” time management skills
- Accuracy, pays close attention to detail
- Effective written communication skills
**Working Conditions/Physical Demands**
- Fast paced environment
- Must be able to life 50 lbs.
- Able to work in temperature fluctuation
- Indoor Farm environment

Work Location: In person
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
