**Director, Expansion and Employment**
The Director, Expansion and Employment will be responsible for the growth and development of Construct’s 8-week pre-apprenticeship program and expansion by managing funder contracts and obligations, including budgets, financials, tracking, developing and overseeing reporting, identifying and securing resources and supports for participants, fostering new relationships and partnerships, and diligently seek new opportunities by identifying partner organizations that meet the necessary requirements to meet Construct’s program expansion.
**What does a Director, Expansion and Employment do?**
**Program Delivery**:
- Supervise social program components, offering guidance to staff.
- Forge and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Ensure robust participant support and develop diverse employment streams.
- Collaborate with support staff to enhance the digital training portal.
**National Expansion**:
- Partner with COO to replicate and implement the employment model.
- Vet expansion partners, embed best practices, and manage national collaborations.
- Oversee the digital training portal development for expansion and support partners.
- Foster an ecosystem of potential program partners for value creation.
**Reporting**:
- Manage funding agreements and ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
- Provide operational recommendations and support to coalition partners.
- Complete necessary funding reporting and ensure accurate outcome tracking.
- Maintain understanding of funding dynamics and expansion operations.
**What you bring to the table**
- Minimum Bachelor’s in Social Work, Business or other related degree. (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of five years’ work experience in the social service field.
- Inherent knowledge of social enterprise and its best practices.
- Skilled in providing leadership and direction to individuals and teams.
- Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong ability to problem-solve in conflict and/or crisis situations.
- Knowledge, understanding and promotion of anti-oppressive practices.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations.
**Salary information: $95,000**
