**Job Summary**:
Under the direction of the Director of Cultural Services, the Cultural Services Assistant will work collaboratively with the Cultural Coordinator, FNIM Services Manager, and the organizational leadership team to implement the annual work plan and calendar of the Cultural Service Team. This role supports the coordination of cultural services, support compliance with service standards and ensures timely documentation and completion of mandated visits and cultural engagement activities. by team members within the Cultural Services portfolio.

The Cultural Services Assistant will provide administrative support to the Director of Cultural Services.

The Cultural Services Assistant plays a key role in enhancing and supporting workflows that assist children, families, staff, and community partners. The primary focus is on preserving and promoting traditional practices within Indigenous communities, strengthening cultural identity, and ensuring that children remain connected to their culture, language, and community.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Indigenous Studies, Child and Youth Work, Social Services, administrative services or related field.
- Minimum of 3 year of experience in social or administrative services, preferably in context of Indigenous children, youth, and families.
- Strong administrative and compliance tracking experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of data entry software (e.g., Power BI, CPIN).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Indigenous ancestry with knowledge and lived experience of Indigenous culture, protocols, and teachings.
- Experience integrating Indigenous practices into service delivery.
- Experience supervising access visits or facilitating family reunification activities.
