At Federated Insurance, our Commercial Insurance Sales Agents (CIS) strive to develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial businesses across Alberta to understand and meet their insurance needs.

Our Commercial Insurance Sales Agents have sunk their teeth into sales and want to hone their interpersonal skills to become sales superstars They are resilient, work well under pressure, and are committed to maintaining high standards. We are looking for individuals who are confident they will not only meet their targets, they will smash them.

We will help develop our CIS Trainees by providing full sales training from industry leaders, educational courses, and the support to obtain your insurance license, but you will bring a hunger for success

In other words, the Commercial Insurance Agent Trainee role is ideal for an up-and-coming sales superstar who has found their calling and has the drive to make it happen

You’re great at:

- Understanding customers and their unique needs
- Building mutually beneficial relationships
- Managing multiple and changing priorities
- Going above and beyond; you don’t only meet your targets, you crush them

You have:

- Post-secondary education (University or College)
- One to two years of front-line sales experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A valid driver’s license
- Must obtain appropriate license required in Alberta within six months of hiring date
