**Schedule Details**
- Open Availability
- Shifts vary between 8:00 a.m. until 9:15 p.m.
- Evenings and Weekends Required

**Reporting directly to the Bakery Supervisor, the Bakery Packer ensures that the bakery department is always performing in an effective and efficient manner, minding ICS’s policies and procedures for all actions and decisions. Bakery Packers will support and follow ICS’s mission and values.**
- Inform the Bakery Supervisor of any incidents and escalations, providing details of their resolution
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Bakery Supervisor

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Prioritize providing exceptional customer service to deliver a positive customer experience
- Thereby cultivating a positive reputation for the company and fostering customer loyalty.
- Packing bread and pastries into boxes quickly.
- Following a list to ensure that orders are properly picked.
- Cleaning bakery equipment in a timely manner.
- Ensuring a clean work area.
- Following directions as given.
- Representing ICS both in and out of the store.
- Adheres to all food safety protocols, standard operating procedures, health and safety policies, and other programs and initiatives.
- Additional tasks will be assigned as needed.
- High School or GED from an accredited school system or program is preferred

**Skills and Abilities**
- Excellent listening skills and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure, while maintaining a professional image
- Ability to learn quickly
- Work independently with little direct supervision
- Have a well-balanced concern for both task and people
- Have a genuine concern for needs of customers

**Working conditions**
- Required to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, days, evenings weekends, and holidays.
- Required at times to work with challenging customers and/or situations.
- Exposed to hot, cold, and dusty environments.
- Regular exposure to flour and other baking ingredients, including nuts.

**Physical requirements**
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally
- Long periods of standing and walking
- Frequent bending and twisting
- Occasionally pushing and pulling of heavy carts around bakery
- Occasionally work in coolers and freezers for short periods of time
