Are you looking for an awesome summer job working in the great outdoors? Base camp 59 is a new RV Campground located 59 min from Winnipeg along Highway 59, across from the Grand Pines Golf Course and beside the Birchwood Motor Hotel, Restaurant & Bar. Our address is 1 Ruby Lane, RM of Alexander, Manitoba. We are opening this summer and are looking for help from a reliable, self-motivated, independent worker who loves to take care of outdoor spaces through summer
**Responsibilities**
You will work with our Campground Managers and be responsible for:
- Tidying campground trails and picking up trash.
- Power washing and cleaning the bathroom/shower/laundry facilities each day.
- Mowing and trimming grass areas on a weekly basis.
- Maintaining campground trails.
- Managing firewood preparation.
- Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools.
- Assisting in site upgrades and preparations for occupancy.
- Ensuring projects are completed within specified time and notifying supervisor if difficulties arise.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to work with power equipment is an important asset.
**Additional Information**
This is an hourly position, and successful applicant will be paid $20 - $25 / hour depending on skill level and experience. Occasional work in the evenings and weekends may be required during the season.
